That is called inflation, 物價慢慢漲 is normal over time; 物價慢慢漲 has nothing to do with "...一個國家不敗亡...".

裕隆 吉利青鳥 was NT$120,000 and the Long-Life smoke was NT$10/pack. I see nothing wrong with "...陽春麵十元吃到現在~~~~30~~35...". I can recall 陽春麵 was NT$1.5 when I was a kid, and it was still too high for my mother to manage a family of five with NT$1,300/month paycheck. So she skipped the 陽春麵 and worked hungry till dinner time, she cook the dinner on coal-burning stove that took at least an hour to get the heat up. Be appreciative to what we have now and what the country has offered us. What we need is more encouragement, less complaint and arguments.
