SHIPPING MY CAR FROM US

Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

4 D0 R3 p/ w1 n3 RHere is a link: http://car2tw.com/ It is a commercial website, but I still post it because they do offer a lot of useful information, I personally did not pick them to ship my cars, yet.

Here is my two-cents:

9 j4 c/ P/ T" ^7 c' e7 B/ d1 q7 }One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

8 N4 R; C, B$ M9 rHere is a factory shot (borrowed from the HONDA website) of a S2000 CR I have.

2 }, U" F" k- y8 v" a0 V- a除了運費跟關稅外 據說比較麻煩的是ARTC驗車

如果您真的外匯進來了 也麻煩分享一下相關程序跟價格

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商

* S7 S0 F2 N. y! |/ v引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人

人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣

台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價

, T. T6 Q5 Z- n* X; F9 n; V* J然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

& J7 V/ S& c) ^( S2 o0 o# N! KThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.
