難聽死了～ 混淆視聽！ taipei 就 taipei , 外國人最好是知道 taipei city 跟 taipei county 的差別.

不管, 我還是會說 i'm from taiwan taipei. and i am not a fxxking low class korean.

You are right to call them "twin cities".  I do think this is exactly the term to introduce the cities!

1)  They're different cities, governed by different mayors.
2)  Taipei is surrounded by Xinbei.
3)  "Xinbei" means "new Taipei".
