We have been living in US NY/NJ area for over 30 years.We are staying in Royal Plaza off Dade Road for half a year while in Taiwan and return to US during summer months with our son and daughter families.

SanXia is a really a good place to live as a retirement community.

Yes, summer time would be the best time to visit your children and your grandchildren in the States!

Is that your grandchild in the icon photo? Such a cute baby!

We have been in Sanxia since March this year; and enjoying this college district a lot. We'll be going back to the States for about a month or so for my son's wedding in Houston, and some visiting in LA, and Portland.

Isn't that great the temperature is cooling down now? Enjoy the cooler weather!

It is great that we have this thread to communicate among our friends and neighbors who yet to settle in Sanxia but plan to stay here eventually. Yes, this is a beautiful neighborhood and we are glad to live here for the quality living. The only complaint that we have had is the HOT summer season which in some days is quite unbearable.

For the next few years we will be communicating between LA, NYC and Sanxia, mainly to visit our son, daughter and their families.

Please keep in touch via this thread in this future.

I have spent whole summer back in 1969 in Oregon. It was the best time I have had during my 30+ years in States.

I enjoyed all the fun time then from visiting Portland, Salem, Corvallis down to Eugene. It was truly a beautiful State.
