這是 德國牧師馬丁．尼莫拉（Martin Niemoller）的警語
最近社區的事讓我深有感觸，與各位一同分享：
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I did not speak out
because I was not a communist.
起初他們（德國納粹黨）追殺共產主義者，
我不是共產主義者，我不說話；
When they came for the social democrats,
I did not speak out
because I was not a social democrat.
接著他們追殺猶太人，
我不是猶太人，我不說話；
When they came for the trade unionists
I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
後來他們追殺工會成員，
我不是工會成員，我繼續不說話；
When they came for the Jews
I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew;
此後他們追殺天主教徒，
我不是天主教徒，我還是不說話；
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out
最後，他們奔向我來，
再也沒有人站起來為我說話了。

社區的事，或許是別棟的而不是我們棟的（如垃圾問題），也或許是我們自身相關的（如頂樓能否曬衣服、地下室磁鎖問題、保全問題、重大修繕…等），我們住戶都是一個整體，若是大家能多關心、一起討論，相信社區才能更好；若是大家都怕事，怕惹麻煩而不願挺身而出，有心人士終將得逞，到時便悔恨莫及了。
