If you guys want to bring the car back to TW, you need to consider the import tax and TW DMV regulation.
5 h; M6 [" V0 O0 D" mWhen we moved back to TW from S. Cal. and got very high cost import tax estimate from 飛達, not only this but also need to figure how to deal with TW DMV. My friend bring their Audi A6 back to TW, they wait 1 1/2 years to get their car, because TW DMV said that the car can't pass their test and complaint the car have too many option. Therefore we give up and sale our car before we move.
飛達 is my best choice moving company in the State, because they really care your furniture. We already live here for an year and very enjoy! Welcome back and wish meet you guys sometime (State reunion.....^_^)

/ P. x2 c4 e" f0 p; }Thank you for the info. We were told that unless we brought back an expensive car (value > NT$2,000K) than it would not worth it after all the taxes and processing fees. That said, it may be cheaper to buy car in TW if we do need one. Hsan-Hsia has excellent buses transportation to Taipei and MRT for that we may not need a car but we are still pondering the buy ...

/ _: y+ ~6 Q! ^4 ?You are right! Only luxury vechical worth the money to bring it back, but still, need to consider the maintance and the repair parts in the future! Take easy for a while until you really need a vechical.

One important note, some shipped will not allow house-whole items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow house-whole items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.
