Just want to add a note here. Most of electronics, including LED large screen TVs and home theater systems, are much cheaper in US compared with the same thing sold in Taiwan. Costco, BestBuy, and other stores have plenty of models in stock at very attractive prices. Some states offer no sales tax like Oregon. However for baggage size limit and penalty charge, you may want to double check with your airline company beforehand.# E% G) k J% T1 g8 \& X {' w, r

Overall this is not strange at all. Twenty years ago my Japanese colleague told me the same Sony TV model was sold much more expensive in Japan than what was sold in US. Regional pricing policy may have its own reason...
