7 Q" D# f9 x2 f! sSome members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars., h' x' w; _7 m3 z* t! z, t

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人

0 m8 m% n% C. g. @5 Y人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣

台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
& {" g# K2 V: W. |8 d
( ^- b* I6 ]+ E然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.

My total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車. ! t8 O; l( N( `% F0 ?

- ?  ]7 b( d7 L3 IIf I sold the car for US$50,000, not saying I would or the price will be so low, I still be in the positive side.
