Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.  D5 y0 q9 D1 W

2 C" p" l4 F( @' `! |) |One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

如果您真的外匯進來了 也麻煩分享一下相關程序跟價格 5 U$ }. e* s% ^" H! X6 [, ^

人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣

. O0 V2 f1 Y: m6 E) G台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
  ?" j6 Q- Q6 B6 N/ w" n1 D$ G9 d: k- u7 L# F$ D) E& R
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

The fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.& ?0 _( K' n$ G9 H( Z* Y

My total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.
