2 T8 b+ u) z9 N+ H& Z* Y) r/ Y& ySome members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

- c, y7 k, e  K# r$ q! g, ^3 |2 jOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

/ u6 m" M; o# N5 h9 j/ c" c2 I' ]台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價

( K! o( x5 ~1 ^, Q' u6 g! Z然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.$ T# r/ T4 A* E. N$ G4 p7 h

% `" @- `% e* e! O2 x9 T, LMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車. 4 z# z1 ]' [5 D; Y* t& ^
