Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.- F3 r) ?4 z+ G- A4 Y

6 K; N% y/ b) u5 wOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

0 |9 B2 A, I) o人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 6 k4 `+ K  U, ~  J6 z4 @

) ^/ o" Q; v8 y! h( ?7 l台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價3 y, P% ~) c* \, j

  y9 h! g. }' ^  \7 n$ {然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.
( w3 ~# a+ k8 a7 Z9 ]& K+ z7 ?1 H- [; K. U6 z8 ^0 ^1 E
My total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.
