Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

, E5 P6 t1 E+ L- G: M% KOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

除了運費跟關稅外 據說比較麻煩的是ARTC驗車6 G9 b+ v% e. ^  C

如果您真的外匯進來了 也麻煩分享一下相關程序跟價格 6 ^# e9 K+ Y8 M' k9 I

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商9 s6 |& f; Y1 I, `7 |& W9 v

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人: T* V, e+ Q; J/ k/ Q8 v
2 \5 `0 ^4 p' U) z: c- R5 F
人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣

3 l' X7 U- i8 m) C- U, u台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價

然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

1 P( y1 @. M) G' U' }) Q# C+ XThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.

8 F# I' l" h" l+ W2 A  [4 @0 EMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.
