Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.# K1 M$ n$ w2 R) S# j8 U

* ^& o, C' `) N5 g: }% m. IOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商

# h: z8 X$ Z' b+ S7 U% L- r引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人3 K# ^6 Q" F2 Y) Z/ b8 ~3 q" j* @

人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 / e& x- g: k4 c5 H, V
( ^  T+ @" [3 E. N& O: x9 ~$ i
台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
- x8 X. p1 k  D4 F: U- [  q" o! O# }$ }/ `+ `) N1 x
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.
( @$ j7 u/ g) g! \7 I! o3 e/ V
/ O* s: I0 p& y# w0 Y% D& u$ x' \$ q, B+ MMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車. ( i1 N1 q% Q7 I( `. j

! C3 W1 u" m6 D' c. B3 C7 VIf I sold the car for US$50,000, not saying I would or the price will be so low, I still be in the positive side.& d/ j! ^" B0 R: O  U1 s7 ?
