" U1 U( p( R2 p5 eSome members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

Here is my two-cents:

O5 s2 }& _" m" wOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.0 ~) w; L" \5 C

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人

) Z$ b4 ~; h- o+ d; ^5 J6 r人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 : L, D) m  L6 e5 d

6 [/ M: h6 l6 }# }0 q6 J% h9 t台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價5 Y' h4 W2 _8 w$ Y- O8 |: @9 ~
& ]# E* F4 C2 Y
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

3 s% ^) F  w* x4 fThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.

) e; ~5 j+ x8 ?# Z
  z% j0 c0 I; R0 G9 T% G: JMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車. ; f& @# K4 N8 v% F1 ~% S. F! c  s6 W

If I sold the car for US$50,000, not saying I would or the price will be so low, I still be in the positive side.# ?& m( k( C! N8 Q

Total Production of the 2008 S2000 CR was limited, but those lucky enough to get one will join an exclusive club: The CR was available only in the U.S.
