Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人- b7 _# G; F' d- ^* `5 y$ s

$ }, u+ e9 I- S8 E2 M人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣
# T! G8 c+ V2 Q0 r# r! R, U/ M4 t# G9 R% ?2 B. v
台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
% C- |5 g2 |$ d. P
3 Q- r3 q  x# }$ j- t/ _! Q然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

, m8 ^' w1 E, x7 I' V自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.+ p7 f% ]8 |9 f# O

8 R2 ]  H0 f1 ]6 @My total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.
