Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

Here is my two-cents:

One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.! |9 o( F5 w& B

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人, G! K0 g) _# D) O6 ^
" B; }% c* R: q4 w8 y1 L9 \) ?
人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣
) X( o! {& T/ Y% w
# f( m- O) W( |% t! ~$ W台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價( J3 V2 E! ?; ~5 p4 x9 E* \/ w

4 l, ?( O2 I3 P( `0 V  F# k! i然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

+ N2 C8 V8 _& _* S6 c# r) I- j7 CThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.2 G% Z" E2 `5 j+ t
