/ Q$ @- W9 [. ISome members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.) p' K* M' N9 W1 e

Here is a link: http://car2tw.com/ It is a commercial website, but I still post it because they do offer a lot of useful information, I personally did not pick them to ship my cars, yet.

& X, Q" c# ^+ N  rOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商

2 z# h2 S  ~% B3 w引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人8 H* L* I: ~% [( u8 `. F

人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 ; A5 s3 o" F: e
: u# i5 ^8 N7 ~+ r1 [
台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價& w! [: q4 u% D* c
' c* k# H, \* Z$ v3 s3 K# m6 @
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

The fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.

My total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.

If I sold the car for US$50,000, not saying I would or the price will be so low, I still be in the positive side.

Total Production of the 2008 S2000 CR was limited, but those lucky enough to get one will join an exclusive club: The CR was available only in the U.S.
