Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't./ f4 A) j/ e9 s8 }

One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.$ T' v: y# e6 }8 n

除了運費跟關稅外 據說比較麻煩的是ARTC驗車+ C3 L( j, n! j. x* |$ P( \& [

如果您真的外匯進來了 也麻煩分享一下相關程序跟價格

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人

( B* o- U4 ^5 k. ^; n: u# f人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 & h2 ?0 Z, G6 z/ }1 \/ A4 c

- j. @/ w* A1 o; y: g: N+ `台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價1 j  y4 f. A* {0 {$ f
" ~, i9 L1 c; G* @) K2 K9 r* W5 `9 Z
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

- o5 K; X0 l! f2 W2 J. I/ nThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.

$ {5 d$ Q$ L# }) |. H  OMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車. + S( z$ w- o! T* H  C$ }
