; G  J+ _; Q! i' k. s% Q+ {Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

4 u+ |, W9 l2 y# d% `; u) ]One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.

台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
& n' F' D- H2 D& B
2 ^$ U( l3 N9 }然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

/ p$ Y5 [0 a6 h; YThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.: y* ^1 K& V. _. W0 j4 r% h

& j' I, C' ?4 A* f  L; W
) p' e. q6 @8 _2 T1 u6 c" @  WMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.

8 B' I+ p3 Q" u% h) i* T* w3 RIf I sold the car for US$50,000, not saying I would or the price will be so low, I still be in the positive side.
