9 T! d+ e" ~9 ]Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

& l' n; y9 G+ p8 C; e8 T! yOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars./ U0 B0 x3 `1 [1 {5 s

除了運費跟關稅外 據說比較麻煩的是ARTC驗車

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人

$ |  J% h9 u, `2 K* R0 c人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 # E$ Z, A9 k/ M

% v5 r* _% t( d1 I# K! u% u台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
# _1 c+ y+ ^' t3 Q: U* e. L( ~+ @5 ~. K: s5 ~
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.

My total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.
