1 d" s( u- z$ v" K  `- i! t5 \Some members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.  w; U- O! w8 c9 y! O- d

Here is a link: http://car2tw.com/ It is a commercial website, but I still post it because they do offer a lot of useful information, I personally did not pick them to ship my cars, yet.

Here is my two-cents:

One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.8 h3 M; N% Y, P

人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣 ; Q/ T* m0 C' N  `" Q. J$ ~

) J' W- C  U5 N台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價. {2 _* Y+ Z& q# _* `# i# L

然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

自Houston小型車運費要US$2,500, 還得加上關稅US$3,500和國內種種費用US$8,000, total cost is estimated at US$16,000 after factors in other possible variable costs.
