$ ]% Z: p1 l" I- DSome members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.

Here is a link: http://car2tw.com/ It is a commercial website, but I still post it because they do offer a lot of useful information, I personally did not pick them to ship my cars, yet.

One important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.  o1 K& t8 @& J! o1 b

除了運費跟關稅外 據說比較麻煩的是ARTC驗車

如果您真的外匯進來了 也麻煩分享一下相關程序跟價格 5 w; d. L2 w. b2 T

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人" S& |* V( {" S4 O

  m' w5 D- R( a8 y; J人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣
! \0 I. k& o5 Q+ f( X2 j5 F/ B' r- C8 ~& X" p
台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價
% F3 J" K, g) {/ v/ I
2 t) ^: [+ |% G然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

$ r+ W  T8 Y1 t/ o: uThe fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.

' _+ `8 O# Z: n. mMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.

Total Production of the 2008 S2000 CR was limited, but those lucky enough to get one will join an exclusive club: The CR was available only in the U.S.( a, B' o4 T1 H8 _9 `
