) m3 ~4 R% l* Y7 O4 |2 Y! GSome members were asking information about shipping his/her own car back to Taiwan from the US, I thought I start a new thread here for everyone to share their valuable info on the How-To, and Do-Don't.7 Z; D/ |5 E1 A/ Z: V- m% T9 r' g$ ]

" {7 S4 w# U5 i8 eOne important note, some shipper will not allow household items in the shipping container with your vehicle, I am waiting for a quote from 松福, they will allow household items in the container with the car, that saves a lot on shipping costs. I am shipping back two (2) Honda S2000s, I am the original owner on both cars.8 p! {) k. L$ j. V" W! W

除了運費跟關稅外 據說比較麻煩的是ARTC驗車

在這裡不免要抱怨一下台灣的車商5 _% d+ F) M( X7 u. h

引進的款少就算了 價格又高得嚇死人

) s3 d' F' k0 z9 S人家歐美日所得是我們的好幾倍 車價卻比不上我們台灣
% z. c0 Q+ D. ^5 K% t. c% R/ ^% x9 U3 T5 j' z1 ^4 K8 n
台灣用進口關稅保護國產車 反而變成國產車賣進口價& L5 z& a& x  r: \0 v; a6 T8 r
0 R* ~3 |  y; F* d8 |0 ^) F7 L
然後配備又不齊全 只能說在台灣買車就像是待宰的肥羊啊...

The fair market value of a low mileage (2008, 2,500 miles) all original, like-new S2000 CR (which is a collector's model, HONDA had the CR only in 2008) is estimated at NT1,800,000. (its US blue-book value is around US$30,000). There are other factors as well.# m5 z9 ?5 D) s' a

0 G& p4 T- N( HMy total cost, therefore, is estimated at US$46,000 on the road in Taiwan. There are other S2000 in Taiwan, so there will not be a lot problems in passing the ARTC 驗車.
